William graduated from his Podiatry degree at the University of South Australia. After graduating he moved to Melbourne to be the understudy of Melbourne's best sports podiatrists from Sports Medicine Centres of Victoria and Olympic Park Sports Medicine. During this time he treated patients from the Western Bulldogs, Melbourne Demons, St Kilda Saints, Victorian Institute of Sport and the Victorian Cricket Team.
Years later, William returned back to his hometown of Adelaide to be with his family and friends. Upon his return he opened Melbourne Street Podiatry Centre in North Adelaide from scratch which is going strong today. During this time he was a guest University Lecturer in Human Movement/Sport Science at the University of South Australia for biomechanics. In 2006, William was one of the first podiatrists in Adelaide to utilise the first non-weight bearing foot scanner, replacing plaster casting in orthotic prescriptions for podiatrists.
William is a former elite level national government funded athlete with the Australian Institute of Sport between 2003-2011. He has been to over 15 countries to represent Australia. During his competitive career he experienced many injuries ranging from plantar fasciitis/heel spurs, ankle tendinitis, shin splints to an anterior cruciate rupture. His injuries gave him a direct insight to the ups and downs of what it is like to struck down with foot and leg pain.
Today, he gets more satisfaction from treating recreational athletes and people whose lives are impacted by the same injuries as elite athletes. Through being an athlete and working with elite athletes he has developed a clinical and practical understanding of what injured athletes need as part of their treatment and management plans. He has a strong interest in biomechanics, sports medicine and heel injuries.

Brigette is a keen and ambitious podiatrist with a passion in treating kids and sports injuries. She embarked on her Podiatry journey from a young age as competitive dancing left her with multiple injuries. Like all athlete’s, she was determined to not stop dancing and competing however was told by her health practitioners she would have to cut back; and that’s where the fire began.
Her desire for helping people shows through working closely with her patients to achieve a happy medium both practitioner and patient are content with. She firmly believes that ‘rest’ is not the first line treatment and nothing makes her happier than having active patients.
“Modification is key”
Brigette loves all adjunct therapies especially dry needling, foot mobilisations/manipulations and shockwave therapy. She is always keeping up to date on what’s working and what isn’t and loves getting patient feedback.
After working at The Athlete’s Foot for 5 and a half years, she’s got an extremely in depth range of footwear and the technology attached to different brands. Her love of shoes has her always keeping up with the latest updates in running, football, netball, athletics, duty, safety, walking and lifestyle footwear. Any queries on what type of shoes you should be wearing for your foot type, she’s your girl to ask!
Brigette is a graduate from Western Sydney University and when she’s not dancing or teaching, you can catch her training at F45, shopping or socialising on the weekends.
Jemma has participated in a number of sporting activities throughout her life, including middle distance running, swimming, basketball and soccer. Whilst playing soccer at State League level, injuries resulted in her undergoing two ankle reconstructions. It was during her rehabilitations that she realised that she would love to help others either get back into sport or help prevent them from injury.
Throughout her studies, she complemented her learning by working at Active Feet, a Melbourne based podiatric athletic footwear chain. This gave her the practical skills of performing biomechanical assessments and being able to advise the customer on the most appropriate footwear for their needs.
Jemma strives for excellence and has a passion for treating the athlete, the person next door and the weekend warrior. Jemma is always looking for ways to improve. She seeks out ongoing professional development and enjoys constructive feedback from her clients and colleagues alike.
Jemma graduated from Latrobe University in Melbourne and, when not at work, you are likely to find her on a soccer pitch, doing a class at BodyFit or shopping at the many suburban boutiques around Adelaide.
